Application of Cow Urine as Bio-Fertilizer and Bio-Pesticide In Boro Rice Production of Bangladesh

This study focused on cattle urine utilization as bio-fertilizer and bio-pesticide its effectiveness boro rice production comparing with chemical fertilizer pesticides. Three groups were divided into completely randomized design (CRD) to conduct the experiment. No chemical/bio pesticides and/or fertilizers is being applied in control group (T0).The second (T1) by recommended dose. The third (T2) biofertilizer bio-pesticides calculative germinated plant BINA (variety 28) was transferred a well-prepared field after 21 days. prepared using cow bio fertilizer. solution from mixing dung (1:1) then diluted into1: 9 water. One kg of fresh neem leaves kept 10 L (liters) container allowed 28 days for fermentation. Meanwhile, one liter extracted mixed 10L water ratio 1:10 produce pesticide. Cow thousand liters per hectare which repeated every transplant harvest. Bio pesticide two hundred nozzle spraying at 15-day intervals planting flowering production. Likewise seven-day intervals. Plant height, chlorophyll content, number tiller/hill grain yield observed growth parameter respectively. tallest height content 76 cm 46.5 T2 day 45 30 respectively, but effective tiller hill, maximum final score 14 fromT1.For all treatments, mean became identical. However, delivered highest 5.85 t/ha. In biopesticide non-significant, pest infestationbio lower.
